COURSE DESCRIPTION
Learn costume & mask fabrication techniques with master creature fabricator and specialty costumer, Fred Fraleigh (Where the Wild Things Are, Blade: Trinity, Men in Black 3).

In Part 1 of his 3-part course series, Fraleigh begins sharing fabrication methods he's perfected over the last 20+ years at Hollywood's leading FX shops, starting with how to pull a pattern off an object (a coyote skull), enlarge the pattern, and then trace it onto L200 foam. From there, Fred demonstrates the magic of bevel cuts and begins gluing the foam pieces together to form the base of the mask.

If you dream of transforming foam into an array of organic and mechanical shapes, this course series is a must-watch!

Approximate Runtime - 04:54:59
