Discover Cossey-Massey Walk | Scenic Loop in the Hunua Ranges | Auckland

Welcome to the Cossey-Massey Loop, a favourite walk in Auckland’s Hunua Ranges. This wide gravel trail takes you through beautiful native forest, past sparkling waters, and some truly impressive kauri trees.

You’ll tackle some stairs early on, but the beautiful forest, sparkling waters, and giant kauri trees make it a truly rewarding walk. The loop works well both ways, and we’ll take you through the best spots, from the lookout to the dam and down into the valley.

Remember to clean your shoes at the start to help protect the kauri, and get ready to enjoy this peaceful forest journey.
