Cosmi: Forbidden Forests (2025) Announce Trailer [PS5]
This legendary collection features 10 hand-chosen classics from the Commodore 64 era of the 1980s, as well as a phenomenal trove of bonus materials for game preservation fans and curious players alike.
Featuring 10 blasts from the past, first published by Cosmi more than 30 years ago, Cosmi: Forbidden Forests has something for everyone including pick-up-and-play shooters and platformers to adventure and simulation games with surprising depth. Go on a hunt for fabled treasure in Caverns of Khafka (1983), bust out of your fish tank in Chomp! (1989), and escape from a toxic post-apocalyptic Chicago in 2027 in Delta Man (1986).
Headlining the collection is a remastered version of Forbidden Forest, which not only includes all-new graphics and audio, but also offers an optional bardcore visual toggle allowing you to get medieval with it. Armed with a bow and a limited quantity of arrows, take down giant spiders, freaky frogs, dragons, snakes, and even the Demogorgon, either in the original style envisioned by master game designer Paul Norman, or in the new art style that looks straight out of a 14th century tapestry.
Additionally, Cosmi: Forbidden Forests comes with remade box art, archival material and original, digital comics from the minds of Ideas&Inks, the team spearheaded by Marvel and DC Comics veterans Ant Williams and Andy Lanning. Together with a phenomenally talented group of writers, letterers, and artists (full list of credits here), the worlds of Forbidden Forest and Caverns of Khafka come to life in two terrifying tales collected together as Digital Dreams and 8-Bit Nightmares.

Developed by Bandai Namco Studios, Shadow Labyrinth blends a modern fast-paced take on the platformer genre with both story and game play nods that draw from Bandai Namco’s arcade legacy. As shown in the latest reveal, a dark vision of the PAC-MAN universe factors large in the game, with PUCK as both guide and a source of powerful—and often familiar—skills and abilities. Taking on the role of a warrior named Swordsman No. 8, and accompanied by PUCK at every turn, players explore this vast world to discover powerful weapons and overcome formidable foes, along the way uncovering terrifying secrets about the planet and its inhabitants.
Throughout the game, Shadow Labyrinth weaves iconic PAC-MAN gameplay into the experience, with twisting corridors, pursuit-style mechanics, nostalgic sights and sounds, and one massive, memorable, and very familiar boss known as the G-HOST Bug. Like the original PAC-MAN, surviving the horrors of this labyrinthine world by consuming everything that stands in their way is the beating heart that will keep players alive.
Shadow Labyrinth features a rich universe and narrative that draws wider inspiration than just PAC-MAN, tapping into Bandai Namco’s broader library of beloved games from the arcade era. Code Vein II features a deep narrative where players and characters are bound by blood, fate, and destiny, set in a future where the last remnants of humanity and Revenants struggle against a world on the verge of collapse. Following the sudden emergence of a threat known as the Luna Rapacis, Revenants have succumbed to madness, transforming into terrifying creatures called Horrors. A Revenant Hunter, guided by a mysterious girl named Lou who possesses the power to travel into the past to rewrite the fate of the world. The player, as the Revenant Hunter, will intervene in key moments of history to alter key revenants’ destinies that reveal hidden truths and information to save the future.
Players will embark on a journey through a world that spans across two eras, where decisions carry weight and every battle tests skill and resolve. Code Vein II features distinctive gameplay for an action RPG, where players use blood drained from enemies to unlock a variety of powerful skills, build strategy for combat with Blood codes, and use unique weapons and equipment called Jails to overcome challenging foes and epic bosses. Players can also forge bonds with powerful Partner allies who fight alongside them and enhance their abilities. Each Partner offers distinct skills and deep narrative connections that shape the journey. Bandai Namco will reveal many more details about the rich universe and game play in Code Vein II in the future.
