The way I rushed through this and spent most of Christmas Eve finishing is beyond wild to me. I had Friday to contemplate if any inspiration would come to be and then it did so I was just going for it. Nothing could stop me...par from AE crashing and headswaps not working out but that's besides the point!
I knew when making this I really wanted to focus on Cosimo's (John Rolfe) relationship with his sister, Cassandra (Portrayed by Odette) but also including his two girls, Annelise (Amalthea) and Cassandra jr (Baby Melody). I just knew that Cosimo's first few Christmases wouldn't be easy but over time he'd make peace with it.

So recently I’ve been going through a creative block with most of my projects save one or two and honestly it all stems from a recent event that I really thought would not affect me at all but yet 3 weeks later, it’s still stuck with me. I feel pathetic that it just has this hold on me and has me no longer having fun with any mep parts or even longer videos that Ive been planning. Every time I open a project, I stare at it for a few minutes, press the play button and then shut it down because I feel overwhelmed. It’s a horrible feeling that I just do not like because normally I am making things left, right and center even if it is small videos for me and a few friends to enjoy. I love this community and if it wasn’t for this community god I wouldn’t have the friends and the little support group they are. I joke around and say they are my unpaid therapists but even then I struggle to come to them when something bugs me or even frightens me because I am so worried that I am just annoying them with such minor issues most of the time.
There have been of course other issues that most people are not strangers too which are family issues as well as other things that I just cannot put into words. Again it’s just that feeling of being overwhelmed and suffocating that I just freeze and just don’t really know what to do with myself which ties back to my lack of creativity as of now.
I think perhaps for now, I might just take a tiny step back from the Disney/non crossover community and even then I feel terrible and guilty for taking a step back when I know Ive got stuff due in but hey if I am lucky I could push out mep parts I am due to bring in but if I do not hand anything in, just kick me. I won’t be offended at all, I am just too scared to say anything in dms because I hate to be a fucking disappointment ya know?
Honestly if life could grant me one wish, it would have to be a pause button.
Just let me breathe.
