The Maggio family has a 100-year history in the southside neighborhood of Bridgeport which is home to the outfits 26th St. Chinatown Crew. I grew up around the 26th St Crew, worked for outfit connected guys, and later in life became an associate earner in the Gambling Racket. Years later I became a journalist and Emmy award-winning videographer covering the murders on the bloody streets of Chicago.
