In the Calamity whip debunk video I DPS tested a bunch of bosses comparing minion-only setups to whip-only setups. Against Plantera I used full Sanguine to kill Plantera for minion-only, however not only is it slower than whip-only Durendal but it's not optimized. I was talking with Crabbar and Teiull on Discord about minion-mixing in Hardmode until I suddenly got the idea to go back and re-test minion-only Plantera with minion-mixing instead of full sanguine, since spider minions especially deal higher DPS by themselves than sanguine. With 3 spiders, 1 optic and 3 bats, this saves around 30 seconds over full-sanguine to the point of now being faster than whip-only Durendal by like over 10 seconds.
