It takes time to master *gerunds* and *infinitives* in English. In this lesson, I identify and correct the ten most common mistakes that English learners make with gerunds and infinitives. Do you make any of them? For example, if you want to say that you do not smoke anymore, should you say “I quit smoking” or “I quit to smoke”? Is it “I need go to the bathroom” or “I need to go to the bathroom”? What about the idiomatic phrase “look forward to”? Should you say “I’m looking forward to hear from you” or “I’m looking forward to hearing from you”? Find out, then do the quiz to double check your understanding. engvid.com/top-10-mistakes-gerunds-infinitives
