Corning® Gorilla® Glass Ceramic 2 vs. competitive aluminosilicate glass and competitive glass ceramic.

In Corning lab tests, Corning® Gorilla® Glass Ceramic 2 survived drops of up to 1.0 meter on a surface replicating concrete (80-grit sandpaper). Competitive glass ceramic compositions from other manufacturers typically failed at 1.0 meter or less. Additionally, competitive lithium-aluminosilicate cover glasses typically failed from drops of half a meter or less.
