What is the easiest way to cook corn on the cob? Nuke it in a microwave. You do NOT have to shuck it or pull all those annoying sticky hair things out from the kernels.

Cook an ear of corn for three minutes. Add a minute for another ear. The corn steams itself inside the husk. Then chop off the bottom part (you do lose 1 or 2 rows of corn this way). Grasp the top with an oven mitt or potholder and shake it vigorously until the corn starts sliding out of the bottom. All the hair/cornsilk stays inside the husk.

It's a-maize-ing!
