Two years ago, we made a quick trip back to Montana to be part of a local community corn harvest. Just after sunrise, a hundred or so folks gathered together and spent the day picking, shucking, boiling and freezing thousands of ears of sweet corn that they grew in their community garden. Rebecca, Indy and I had such a wonderful time and so wish we were able to join them for this year’s harvest, but the timing’s not going to work out for us.
If you find yourself anywhere near Big Timber, Montana in the next week or two, be sure to stop by the Greycliff Mill, and see if you can join in with this year‘s harvest..
