This is a recreation of the world famous Corkscrew, currently at Silverwood Theme Park in Athol, Idaho. Sporting a black and yellow paint scheme along with one red 6 car train (seating 4 per car), the Corkscrew originally opened at Knott's Berry Farm in 1975 as the worlds first modern roller coaster to go upside down.
Not to be topped at the time by nearby Six Flags Magic Mountain, who was building their own inverting roller coaster at the time, Revolution, the Corkscrew went upside down TWICE. Compare that to Revolution's one inversion, a clothoid loop.
The Corkscrew, with it's blue and white paint scheme continued to thrill guests at Knott's Berry Farm up until 1989, when the park sold the ride to Silverwood Theme Park in favor of the at-the-time newest innovation in roller coasters, the Vekoma Boomerang.
Ever since being built at Silverwood in 1990, the ride has continued thrilling guests time after time again, proving why the design was copied over 30 times across the globe; it's just that good.
In 2011, the American Coaster Enthusiasts, otherwise known as ACE, made the Corkscrew a landmark, a long overdue honor bestowed upon the famous coaster.
This recreation was made in Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, using mostly all in-game scenery, as well as ATH's Catwalks and Jcat's Steelworx for custom scenery.

This is an animated rendering of the new 2011 attraction for Knotts Berry Farm, WindSeeker.
PRESS RELEASE
WindSeeker will be designed and manufactured by Mondial, a company based in the Netherlands that has been creating thrill rides for the amusement park industry since 1987. Mondial is known for their innovative and unique rides and maintains the highest standards in regards to quality and safety.
WindSeeker will feature 32, 2-person gondolas that will ascend to a height of 301 feet. Once it has reached the top of the tower, WindSeeker will spread its metal arms swinging riders for a 60 second flight at a 45 degree angle at a speed of 8 rotations per minute.
Due to the long airtime, riders will experience a spectacular sense of weightlessness. This, combined with the fact that riders legs will be unrestrained, will create a sense of exhilaration which will enhance the feeling of free flight, said Knotts General Manager, Marty Keithley.
WindSeeker will be located in the Fiesta Village section of the park, nestled between Silver Bullet, Jaguar!, and the Knotts Carrousel. Groundbreaking for WindSeeker began in January 2011 with completion expected by summer 2011.
