Coral balls house the beloved flowtoys capsule 2.0 light with many customizable modes, wireless and app control, adjustable brightness, accelerometer-based kinetic awareness and many more features. The 95mm shell is large for juggling, but the pattern and silicone give the balls a good squish and grip enabling you to juggle 5 balls despite the size - amazing for stage performance.

WHAT ARE CORAL BALLS ::
Made of silicone and at 95mm diameter, coral balls are great for contact juggling, and toss juggling, especially for stage or performance. You can also easily turn your balls into poi.

Inspired by cellular patterns in nature, the coral ball’s surface texture sublimely diffuses the light, obscuring LED hotspots and inevitable scuff-marks with aesthetic features. The textured silicone provides a nice grip for catches and rolls, making them ideal for contact poi and sphereplay.

Voronoi-inspired pattern: The coral ball’s surface design combines an icosahedron, which approximates a sphere using 20 equilateral triangles, with a voronoi pattern that uses math to generate cellular patterns similar to those in the cells of our body, in honeycomb, on a turtle’s shell, in sea corals, and many other wonderful instances in nature.

Using parametric design tools, we explored and carefully tuned the pattern for maximum interest and beauty, and for a grippy texture that balances depth with smoothness.
