So, I want to address this author fear and fandom entitlement which is 2 sides of the same argument. That fandom wants to make money off author's IP by writing sequels to their work and traditional publishers will publish those books (instead of fandom trying to sneak under the radar through patreon or using amazon KDP. Which pubbing fanfic on KDP is against their TOS btw.)
