Using scraps of old books, papers, a planner and more I made a fabulous junk journal to use as an art journal. I have always wanted to try the coptic stitch binding and this was a perfect project to try it on. My journal features many supplies from the April 2023 Your Creative Studio subscription box, as well as gel prints, junk mail, watercolor paper, etc. The journal has 3 distinct signatures. The first is more for sketching and drawing. The second has some heavier weight papers that handle slightly more wet media, such as markers. I can also use it to glue or tape things in like a scrapbook or album. The final signature includes some watercolor paper. I am excited to use this journal for travel and on the go. I will be able to have a variety of options to be creative within the same journal. I can just adjust the art supplies I bring along to how I am feeling that day.
I hope you enjoys seeing my little project and all of the ideas for what to do with this journal/sketchbook. This was a great way to play with the supplies from the April Your Creative Studio box which had a wonderful theme of art and art supplies.
