This thin paint straight pour was the final painting in my little copper, silver and gold mini-series - and the gold version definitely taught me a few things! I used the same color palette as the previous paintings, but the way I layered and poured the gold changed the entire result. It wasn’t exactly what I hoped for, but sometimes those paintings are the ones we learn the most from. At the end, I compare all three metallic versions side by side and talk through what I think worked, what didn’t, and what I’m going to change next time. Hope you enjoy the video!
