On Halloween night, 2020, officers with the Nashville Police Department in Berrien County Georgia responded to a shooting at McPherson Avenue in Nashville, Georgia. Officer Robert Owens found Quanay "Chuck" Carter a PATTEN PROBATION DETENTION CENTER officer in the trauma room with multiple gunshot wounds.
