COP AN ATTITUDE present their debut album. Hailing from the Mannheim/Karlsruhe/Landau area, the band comprises musicians who have been active in the local DIY punk/hardcore scene for decades, having played in groups such as DIAVOLO ROSSO, BLACK SHAPE OF NEXUS, SNUTSKALLAR, GREY WALLS, and ANCIENT RATS. "High on Anger" delivers 12 tracks of fast, furious hardcore punk heavily influenced by '80s USHC—and, as the title suggests, particularly by POISON IDEA. That said, there is also a distinct D.C./Dischord vibe, along with audible traces of crust and d-beat. The release comes in a stylish black-and-white 350g sleeve, featuring black printing on the inside and an included lyric sheet. The first 100 copies are pressed on colored vinyl and are available exclusively through Kink Records and the band itself.
