The best way to play Castlevania is to play it co-op!
And the only way to do that is in Castlevania: Harmony of Despair! Originally released as download a only title on the PS3 and Xbox 360, which is also available on the PS4 and Xbox 1, Castlevania: Harmony of Despair is a six player co-op experience that falls somewhere in between the classic linear side scroller Castlevania games and the newer Metroidvania style games. Basically, every level is a miniature Metroidvania stage that you and a team of up to five others a can tackle. Does this departure from the standard formula pay off and how well does co-op fair in this traditionally single player franchise? Let's liberate the night and find out!
