In this video I convert the Syma X5C quadcopter to a live video downlink for FPV. Part 2 (control upgrade) can be seen here: youtube.com/watch?v=XBQZvvIiOlM
FPV system: readymaderc.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=11_535&products_id=1311
video receiver: readymaderc.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=11_34_44&products_id=912
Capacitor: jameco.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10001_10001_607363_-1
The notch filter is not required, but extends control range. RG316 cable can be found on Ebay from many sellers for a few $.
You can greatly extend your RC control range by doubling the antenna length inside the transmitter to 2.5" (62mm) or do the antenna mod I show in part 2 of this video.
