Installing the Grey Water tank using bolts and metal that I had on hand. This video is from this summer. The delay is because I was opening a bar called Coindexter's, selling some houses for a bunch of clients, and then I got married. Somehow, I just couldn't find the time through all of that...
Also, my math was wrong on the tank weight capacity. 75 gallons of water weighs about 625lbs. The tank is pretty light, so lets just say 650lbs to be generous. Divide by 5 struts, means each strut must be able to carry 130lbs. The weight on each bolt is not evenly distributed, but even split, each bolt must hold about 22 lbs. even if there were only two bolts per strut, they would each need to be able to hold at least 65 lbs, which I believe they can...easily. I thought the next weak link might be the super strut channel itself, but according to an engineering spec sheet that I found online, one steel strut has a pullout capacity of 2000lbs. So, I'm not worried about that anymore. I am very confident that this method is good. The only way to prove it, though, will be to put some miles on it.

I couldn't find an online link to the bolts I used to attach the strut. You want 3/8"x1.5" Hex Lag Washer Head Screws for Sheet Metal. (unless you need 100 of them: fastenerexpert.us/products/3-8-x-1-1-2-unslotted-hex-washer-head-sheet-metal-screws-18-8-stainless-steel-100-pack) I recommend you go to Tacoma Screw or another good hardware store and ask for what you need.
