New York-based artist KAWS joins Michael Rooks, Wieland Family Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art, to discuss his current exhibition at the High, KAWS PRINTS.

The exhibition explores the artist’s deep and sustained involvement with graphic art and printmaking. The work of KAWS is known by millions around the world, in part, because he has embraced the democratic principle of making art accessible by producing editioned prints, multiples, toys, and other types of art-related merchandise, in the tradition of American pop artists like Andy Warhol and Keith Haring.

Support for Conversations with Contemporary Artists is provided by the Jane F. and Clayton F. Jackson Conversations with Contemporary Artists Endowment
