Games and Equilibria in System Design and Analysis
In this talk I will present ideas and results about the automatic synthesis of control strategies, particularly when the environment disturbances prevent the full achievement of a prescribed goal. Drawing connections with decision theory and game theory, I will discuss ways to obtain general and goal-independent solution concepts that capture the intuitive notion of best-effort control under overwhelming disturbances.
