Tripwire Control Hunter is here! ðŠĪðđ
I'm bringing a completely different take on Hunter with Tripwire Control Hunter, built around the new Tripwire cards from Escape From Violet Hold!
The deck uses Arcane Tripwire and Beast Tripwire to fill the deck with powerful delayed effects that can punish the opponent when they're drawn. But the real fun begins with R4T-C4TCH3R, one of the new Escape From Violet Hold cards.
ðĪ R4T-C4TCH3R copies ALL spells in your deck, meaning it effectively doubles the number of Tripwires we're working with! That gives the deck a ridiculous amount of disruption and value while also allowing us to keep applying pressure without relying on the traditional aggressive Hunter game plan.
Arcane Tripwire deals 4 damage split among all enemies and shuffles two copies back into the deck, while Beast Tripwire summons a random 5-Cost Beast and also shuffles two copies back into the deck.
Instead of trying to end the game as quickly as possible, we're using these Tripwires as part of a Control Hunter strategy â slowing the opponent down, controlling the board, and letting our traps and value cards do the work.
