I'm bringing back the Imbue Mage archetype from Into the Emerald Dream, but with one major change — we're turning it into a CONTROL deck!
Instead of playing Imbue Mage as a straightforward aggressive or tempo strategy, we're using the Imbue package alongside Mage's powerful removal, board control, and late-game value tools to create a Control Imbue Mage deck.
The goal is to survive the early game, control the board, build up our Imbue effects, and eventually overwhelm our opponent with the value generated by our upgraded cards.
Imbue originally arrived with Into the Emerald Dream, and now that we're playing in the Escape From Violet Hold meta, it's time to see whether this older archetype can make a comeback with a completely different Control approach.
