These are the tributes for the winners of a contest I hosted a while back. The machines get bigger and more complex for each place. Enjoy! ;)

General Info:

Build time: ~1 month

Total fails: ~200

Favorite trick: Swinging tracks

Comments on each machine:

4th place machine:
I reshot this trick over 20 times to get the best take, since it was super easy to reset. Sometimes the pendulum would hit two balls at a time, but I wanted it to hit each one individually. Initially, this trick initially had 6 balls instead of 4, but the pendulum never had enough power or it didn’t hit all the balls. Overall, this was a pretty easy trick to build but I am happy about the way it turned out. Also, this was the second machine I built even though it appears first in the video.

3rd place machine:
The tricks in this machine are simple, but I think they are very satisfying. The box trick reminds me of something out of a Pitagora Suichi machine. The balls that get hit down were really annoying to set up because the sticks are not actually strong enough to hit the balls down if they are just set on top of the holes. Instead, I had to wedge them slightly in so they were about to fall. This also made the last ball fall early a bunch of times due to vibrations. Besides that, the machine itself was pretty reliable.

2nd place machine:
This was the first machine I built, and it was during the making of Machine Madness. The cup trick was very finicky and the cups had to be placed in the exact spot to fall. Surprisingly, the ball launch was the most reliable trick in the entire machine. I also reshot this machine a couple times as well.

1st place machine:
During the building of this machine, I was feeling inspired by Light Rail Machines crazy track tricks, so I decided to make some of my own. The first two tricks feel like things I have seen before, but I think they are original. This machine was also the first time I found magnets to be very useful, especially for the swinging tracks trick. All in all, I think this is my favorite machine in the video.

Thank you all for your continued support.
