In this video, I talk about the 4 important things to do when optimizing your youtube channel. From what to put in the title so people can find your videos, Channel Art, thumbnails and more!
You uploaded onto YouTube and you havent optimized then whats the point.
The First thing you should do is go in and optimize the title of your video. Remember keyword first and then a short description of what its about. For example, the title of this video YouTube Marketing: 4 Tips To Optimize Your Channel Like A Pro [2018]
The second thing is the channel art. Thumbnails should be easy to read and show a simplified version of what is in the video. The Banner on your channel which is called the channel art should be simple and say what the channel is about. Remember less is more.
Now the third thing is the feature video. You need a feature video for new visitors and returning subscribers. This should be something you want to promote because the channel is one of the first things people come to see. So the video should say what the channel is about.
Finally, the last thing should be custom playlists. Make custom playlists about the type of videos you have or will make. These need to be organized so people can see them on your channel. This video will be in the How Tos Playlist.
These four tips for optimizing your YouTube Channel should help you execute a better channel so it can rank higher like the pros and your audience can find you easier.
