Amr Kehila imported a Contender 21 from the USA and rebuilt her from bow to bilge for sight-casting. After an engineer’s tick, the transom was re-rated and a supercharged Mercury 450R was plonked on a Bob’s Machine jack plate. She tops out at 50 knots, but we recommend driving her from the lower helm at that speed. Oh, and did we mention? There’s also a tuna tower with a second helm up top. It’s controversial, but there’s no denying she’s one serious head-turner.
