Satan is still the ruler of this world, but his reign is coming to an end. Satan is now actively destroying the entire world system, which the Bible calls Babylon the Great in Revelation 17 & 18. He allowed men to appear to rule Babylon the Great... until now. Very soon he will overtly demand every man's obedience. Who will obey? Christ or Satan? Will you take the mark of the beast because you need money and food?
It is way past time to leave the great mystery religion known as Babylon the Great.
