I knew this day would come, but I don’t know how to face it.
I should’ve made more of an effort, or at least I could’ve called.
I hate the fact that for your last few years, you felt so alone.
I am disappointed in myself, and you’ll never know just how I felt.
There are a million things I would’ve done so different, if I would’ve known.
Last year everything was fine, but now you’re gone.
When I was younger, you tried to tell me you wouldn’t be around forever.
I didn’t listen, and now it f***ing haunts me.
Every decision forever haunts me.

So many emotions I need to convey.
But I will never have the opportunity.
There’s so much regret that resides in me.
