The M4 Prince of Wales Bridge over the River Severn is the second-longest UK bridge.

The Severn Estuary has fast-flowing waters, 2.5-metre-high waves, 80mph winds and the 2nd highest tidal range in the world.
Inaugurated on 5 June 1996 by the Prince of Wales to supplement the traffic capacity of the Severn Bridge built in 1966. The bridge is operated by Highways England. In 2018, it was renamed the Prince of Wales Bridge.
