Bunker returns from the local colliery to report that the miners are on strike. This piques Boston's curiosity, so he embarks on a visit himself - and discovers the truth behind the whole thing.

If I never continue CTF after this episode, then I would consider this the series magnum opus. Which I think is pretty telling, because this was the episode that took the most rewrites to get right (and even then, you may argue it still needed a bit of 'getting right' - but i digress) I personally believe it has the best elements of the first 3 episodes. It doesn't muck around, like 3, and there's more humour like 1 and 2 (or what you *could* consider humour, i hate referring to my writing as funny)
At one stage, I was gonna have Boston face off against the miners in a battle of truth or dare. And then at another point he was going to make them submit via his terrible singing. And then at another stage Bunker wasn't even in this episode, and neither was Jerry (who makes his debut here; he's the engine you usually spot at the junction)
I did not want to have to voice Joanna myself, but many of the female actresses I'd tried to ask were busy - so in the end I figured "well, if it's worth doing, i'll do it myself". The scenes between her and Boston in the latter half of the episode were edited in such a way that you could guess who was talking at what stage, which if I have to voice Joanna for the future I could do again, I suppose. Either that or give her a stronger accent. I can do great accents, as this episode proves, but my shy, female accent needs work.
All in all though, I personally think this episode kinda serves as a turning point for the series going forward, if it does go forward. Now the characters and locations are established, and we know what they do and don't do. I also want 4 episodes to a season of CTF, so a S2 would follow this similar structure.
While this series has finished, my next CTF related project is actually a special two part episode. But that won't be for a while yet, as I am now putting the series on hold - owing to my rl situation right now. But i think this is a good time to leave it, is it not?

I also give my thanks to those who were brave enough to read this entire description :P I tried making several other series in the past, and they never stuck, either out of impatience or lack of faith in my ideas. But I'm really happy Consider The Following has stuck, like permanent glue so it seems. I will see you soon.
