The popular image of conquistadores equipped with the iconic morion helmet is wrong.
In this video I will explain why and touch upon four main points:
1. The origin of this misconception.
2. What equipment they actually used.
3. Contemporary sources and depictions.
4. Who the people and individuals were, behind the conquistadores.
