NOTE: This was recorded at least two months ago! The original has since been privated, but because we already had recorded and we felt it wouldn't make sense to cut that part out, we've left it as is. Some commentary may be outdated.
Sorry I wasn't able to put this in the video as it was a bit of an afterthought and that was because we thought we stressed enough in this one that we mean our riffing in good faith. Still, we do worry that this won't be enough for some so I would like to state here as well just in case. We do have a genuine fondness for the series in our own way. It may not be the intended way and that's okay. It's okay that we don't think it's the best. It's okay we don't like certain things. There are lots of people out there who love this series who think it's wonderful and perfect which is just as valid and awesome. Our laughter and jabs at the work was out of love and even a laugh at ourselves (or at least for me) at how we've all be there, a gentle reminder of past nostalgia. Though we may not have made it super clear, there were points of improvement in the remake despite our gripes; this will be addressed in the monthly review. We wanted to make this statement just in case as the last thing we want is anyone feeling like we're mocking them which we aren't, far from it. We hope it's understood we do what we do in good faith and look forward to see how the series or the creator's work grows in the future. Onto the general description!
