Background
The City of Scranton Department of Business Administration is issuing an Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the Connell Park Rehabilitation Project - Sitework. The project aims to rehabilitate Connell Park, enhancing its facilities and infrastructure to better serve the community. This initiative reflects the city's commitment to improving public spaces and providing quality recreational areas for residents.
Work Details
The Scope of Work includes:
A. Coordination with Certified Installer(s) to avoid conflicts;
B. Mobilization and demobilization of equipment and personnel;
C. Site Preparation involving removal of asphalt pavement, trees, landscaping, play equipment, and installation of erosion controls;
D. Play Equipment installation including a Mega Tower Structure, Swing Set, Dog Park Equipment, and basketball hoop with line striping;
E. Site Infrastructure improvements such as installing a Rain Garden, asphalt pavements, ADA-compliant walkways, and restoring disturbed areas.
Additionally, there is an Add Alternate for installing pervious pavement.
