There are a wide variety of fellowships available to science journalists. Some offer mentorship and work experience to writers just starting out in their careers, others provide space and funding to step away from a job for an ambitious science and health reporting project. Some support career pivots, and many others are somewhere in between — or are something else entirely.
In this Connector Chat, held on November 8, 2023, panelists offered the inside track on the fellowship experience, choosing the right fellowship for you, crafting a competitive application, and more, and answered questions from participants.
