Join National Kitten College for a national Maddie's Fund webinar exploring how shelters and rescues of every size can integrate the latest advancements in neonatal kitten care into their everyday operations. This session will demonstrate how data can become one of the most powerful lifesaving tools available—helping organizations move from reacting to crises to proactively identifying trends, allocating resources, strengthening foster programs, and improving outcomes for vulnerable kittens. Participants will also learn how joining the growing National Kitten College network creates opportunities to share knowledge, contribute to a national data initiative, and collaborate with shelters, rescues, and veterinary experts across the country. Together, we can build the infrastructure needed to advance research, establish evidence-based best practices, and transform the future of neonatal kitten care.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit in early 2020, animal sheltering transformed overnight. Foster-based sheltering, home-based employees and volunteers, along with collaboration galvanized our communities. The pandemic, along with social injustice, has motivated our industry to look at how we partner with our communities and confront our own biases. Shelter and rescue staff across the country began talking on a weekly basis, offering support and innovative ideas to do things differently.
