Three dogs rescued by Connecticut airmen stationed at a base in Jordan have made their way to South Windsor after traveling thousands of miles. The dogs came through Paws of War, a nonprofit that connects rescued dogs with veterans, first responders and Gold Star families.
Jessica Waterhouse fostered the three dogs while her son, Jacob, completed a nine-month Air National Guard deployment. All three are going to soldiers who served in Jacob’s unit, including one Jacob is keeping and naming Jordan after the place where they first met.
