In this video, we introduce our 915mm PLUS Losmandy-style dovetail plate, designed for securely mounting your ALTO cover motor and GIOTTO flat field generator to Celestron EdgeHD 9.25” and 11” telescopes with aluminum dew shields.
This dovetail plate extends up to the front of the dew shield, allowing easy and secure installation of the ALTO-2 cover motor and GIOTTO flat field generator for automated control and accurate flat field calibration. We’ll walk you through the setup process on an EdgeHD 11” and show you how this combination enhances your astrophotography sessions.
If you have the more compact EdgeHD 9.25”, you’ll be able to mount the smaller GIOTTO285 with ALTO-2 cover motor, keeping your telescope protected and your imaging calibrated with ease.
