On Thursday, April 17, 2025, Congressman Al Green will address statements made by a dozen Republicans addressed to House leadership indicating that they will not make significant cuts to Medicaid. Although, this is vindication of Congressman Green’s taking a stand and speaking out during the Joint Session of Congress, it does not ameliorate the necessity to employ vigilance during the budgetary process.
