Please join us in congratulating Maggie Baird, founder of Support + Feed, as UCLA Extension's Restaurant Conference Foodmanitarian Award winner. As many of us wonder what the future holds for our climate and our planet, Maggie Baird is blazing a path toward a more sustainable plant-based world. Her work has inspired countless people around the globe to think critically about what they eat and where it comes from. She founded Support + Feed in Los Angeles in 2020 to create an equitable, plant-based food system that will combat food insecurity and the climate crisis. And she continues her work in thirty states around the country and with other partners around the globe, inspiring others to lessen their carbon footprint by choosing a more plant-based diet.
