Apple just accidentally gave us our best look yet at its upcoming AI-powered AirPods with built-in cameras!
Hidden inside the macOS Tahoe 26.7 Release Candidate is a demo video showing how Apple could use cameras on future AirPods to bring Visual Intelligence directly to Siri. Instead of pulling out your iPhone, Siri could potentially see what you’re looking at, identify objects, save information for later, and understand the world around you.
In this video, I break down the leaked footage, what we know about Apple’s camera-equipped AirPods, their possible design, how Visual Intelligence could work, the big privacy questions Apple will need to answer, and when they might actually launch.
