In this video I’ll discuss the roles and responsibilities of a Configuration Provider as well as the Dos and Don’ts. These ideas have developed through my own experiences of what worked well and what didn’t as well as my observations of what has not worked from other folks I’ve interacted with in various organizations and teams or simply problems they’ve experienced in production that I would not have had in my own systems.

After years of having developed these ideas, fine tuning them and putting them into practice as well as experiencing the advantages of these ideas repeatedly in recent years I thought I’d share these ideas and concepts with a larger population a good practice so that others can benefit while also having the benefit of learning from other’s experiences and observations.
