This video shows you how to work a Russian join. A Russian join allows you to invisibly join in a new yarn and helps avoid having lots of ends to weave in at the end of a project. It is particularly useful for projects where you might see both sides and there's no place to "hide" a woven-in end. It's a great alternative to a felted join when you're working with superwash yarns or other fibres that won't felt.
