If we’re honest before God, we’re too unfeeling and apathetic to those called to be light and salt. To emulate our heavenly Father—perfect like Him—we must open our eyes. Scripture repeatedly shows: both the prodigal’s father and Jesus “saw” the hurting, and seeing always led them to act in compassion.
