Aleksi Briclot is a French fantasy illustrator best known for his cover art for Marvel Comics titles such as X-Man, Avengers, and his card art for Magic: The Gathering. He also worked on Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021), Black Widow (2021), and Thor: Ragnarok (2017). Designer and art director for video games, Aleksi was involved in Egypt 2, ColdFear, Splinter Cell, Duble Agent, Dungeon Runners, and Haze.
In conjunction with his work in video games and comics, Briclot is also an instructor for international workshops organized by companies like ConceptArt, Massive Black, Made (studio SixMoreVodka) or CFSL. He makes regular appearances at international events for Magic: The Gathering.
This talk is about all the things he has learned so far in his career. From professional experiences that helped him to grow as an artist as well as a person. And of course, there is a lot about concept art!
