- On top of the Windows Operating System shortcuts, most programs that you install will have keyboard shortcuts available to use within the program
- Here are some commonly-used shortcuts, related to the Windows Operating System:
Ctrl + C (or Ctrl + Insert) - copy the selected item to your clipboard
Ctrl + V (or Shift + Insert) - paste the item copied to your clipboard
Ctrl + A - select all items in a document or window
Ctrl + Z - undo the previous action
Ctrl + Y - redo an action
Alt + Tab - switch between open apps
Windows key + L - lock your PC
Windows key + D - show/hide the desktop
F5 - refresh the active window
