It's May 4, 2013 the Sun is out. It's 79 degrees here on the North Coast of California. It NEVER gets this hot! The winter composting is FINISHED. So I'm moving it into my tomato beds. You'll see my simple hoop house to protect the tomato plants from the moisture we get here, all summer. And bury (rinsed off) egg shells below tomato plants to provide time released calcium which will prevent the "brown spot on the bottom of the tomato that ruins the whole fruit" disease. Enjoy the garden with me, Mrs gvloanguy and a special visitor/camera assistant. Our youngest.
