I compare the Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Wii VC) title screen through composite cables and component cables to show off just how much better component cables look. Note that YouTube reduces the video quality by quite a bit, so it'll look even better than this on your TV.

Edit: According to an article on SmashBoards (smashboards.com/guides/maximizing-capture-quality-of-melee.521 ) there's only two Wii2HDMI devices that don't introduce input lag: the one from Neoya (which I linked earlier) and the one from Sewell (amazon.com/Sewell-Wii-HDMI-Converter-480p/dp/B0072JP56G). Make sure that you don't get any other one, because they probably add input lag.
