Fingers crossed, YouTube will process this video quickly enough that it actually goes up on November 4th which is 6 years since my very first YouTube video! It was a very bad animation of two cats that I made to test out Windows Movie Maker as my very first editing program. Obviously, Ive come incredibly far since then and I know little me would be enthralled with my art style today, even if I still see all the things I could improve on. I think its important when looking back, especially on an artistic journey, to remember that there was a point in time where those bad art pieces were your favorite thing in the world. I was crazy in love with my own art for a long time before my eyes were properly trained to know what good perspective and anatomy is. Sometimes I miss my unjudgemental days when I drew because I thought my art was phenomenal. However, I still find, especially with a challenge like this, that drawing is incredibly entertaining and one of my favorite ways to release emotion. Thank you all who have been here since day one, and thank you to everyone who has popped up along the way, even if this is the first video youre seeing of mine! Heres to 6 more years ♡︎

Welcome to my animation final for my senior animation class. This was initially supposed to be the entire song, but adobe made half of it implode, so you get what you get. This is basically a one-for-one shot of what goes on in my head when I listen to this song. Im not proud of every frame in here and obviously, theres a lot more work I would love to do on it, but this is what I was able to finish over the course of a semester. Other small animation practices will probably also come out alter, well see.
