This new song and cant run anymore are paired for a reason. Again, with the Evangelion references on my scrapped album third impact, I wanted to incorporate the characters into the story and make their *own* songs; this means if the last song that I put out was Shinjis song, this one is Kaworus song. Call and response. I cant run anymore, Ill never let you go.
Even though Kaworu has a tragic end in the anime, I wanted his song to be upbeat to represent how he felt towards Shinji - and how they would always meet again no matter what. Now both their songs are out and finally together, forever.
